Bradley Beal is reportedly now on the growing list of NBA players opting out of the FIBA World Cup later this summer.

The Washington Wizards All-Star is withdrawing from USA Basketball's Men's National Team training camp and the World Cup -- which is in China from August 31 to September 15 -- because he and partner Kamiah Adams are expecting the birth of their second child around that time, Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reported Monday.

The couple had their first child, Bradley Beal II, better known as "Deuce," in July of 2018. And in April, Adams announced on Instagram that they are expecting their second baby.

USA Basketball practices are in Las Vegas from August 5-9, and the final 12-player roster is expected to be announced mid-August. Coached by San Antonio Spurs' Greg Popovich, Beal was one of 20 players -- and the only Wizard -- invited to participate at training camp.

But he's not the only player to withdraw from training camp and the World Cup. Citing their desire to focus on the upcoming season, Los Angeles Lakers' Anthony Davis, Houston Rockets' James Harden and Eric Gordon, and Portland Trail Blazers' CJ McCollum have also said they won't participate.
