Kristi Toliver, a WNBA champion with the Mystics in 2019 has been hired to her second coaching job in the NBA.
Toliver will join Jason Kidd's staff as an assistant with the Mavericks, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
While a member of the Mystics, Toliver spent parts of two seasons as an assistant coach for the Wizards on Scott Brooks' staff.
After leaving the Mystics in free agency to sign with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2020, Toliver's time with the Wizards also came to an end.
In Dallas, Toliver will get to work with a perennial MVP candidate in Luka Doncic and attempt to help Kidd elevate the Mavs into a championship contender.
