Vast scheduling changes have been proposed and mulled over by the NBA/NBPA because of the league's suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Saturday morning which date changes passed in regard to the offseason acquisition period.

- August 17: Early entry draft deadline
- October 6: Early entry draft withdrawal deadline -- 10 days prior to draft
- October 13: Final day for Game 7 of the NBA Finals
- October 16: NBA Draft
- October 18 at 6:00 p.m.: Free agency negotiations will start -- Not a minute sooner, or that would be tampering, of course, Wojnarowski said
- October 19-23: Moratorium period of free agency
