The Sixers have taken action on the two fans who yelled obscenities at Isaiah Thomas Saturday night during Wizards vs. Sixers.
According to Keith Pompey, the Sixers have banned both fans from Wells Fargo Center for 12 months, and the season-ticket holder who gave them the tickets has had his seats revoked.
This comes not 12 hours after Thomas confronted the two fans late in the fourth quarter of the Wizards' loss. After the game, Thomas explained how one fan held both middle fingers up at him and hurled curse words in his direction.
The fan's excuse for yelling at Thomas was because he wanted a frosty. The Sixers give fans the ability to get a free frosty from Wendy's if an opposing player misses two straight free throws in the second half. Thomas made 1-of-2 before the fan cursed at him.
The NBA has not released a statement on the incident or have decided on whether Thomas will be disciplined further for entering the stands.
