Thomas Bryant is being fined $45K for "repeatedly making inappropriate contact with a game official," Thursday in the Wizards preseason loss to the Detroit Pistons, The Athletics Shams Charania reported Saturday.
Bryant was angered by Pistons' star Blake Griffin tossing him to the floor during the third quarter of Thursday's game. Bryant, charged Griffin (while Griffin laughed in response), and made contact with officials (and even teammates) while they attempted to detain him.
Bryant told the media Friday that there was "no bad blood," between him and Griffin after the game.
No discipline has been reported for Griffin.
The two will likely see each other again tonight, roster decisions permitting, at 7 pm ET here on NBC Sports Washington.
