I literally just saw Wes take the shirt off his back to give to a fan on fan appreciation night. Wild. https://t.co/os5lPaGKzN
Washington wants to focus on younger players with just two games left in their season, Johnson told The Washington Post's Candace Buckner after Friday's game.Â
Johnson came to the Wizards as part of the Markieff Morris trade with the Pelicans. The 31-year old forward appeared in 12 games for Washington, averaging 2.8 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. If he signs with another team before the end of the season, Johnson would not be eligible to play in the playoffs.Â
