John Wall apologizes for viral video

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall took to social media Sunday afternoon to apologize for a recently surfaced video of him apparently in Brooklyn, New York, with friends at a party throwing up gang signs.

Here was his apology.

"First and foremost I want to apologize to my family, my teammates and all of those that have always supported me. I made a mistake, something I regret," Wall said. "I will continue to work hard to be better on the court and more importantly off the court."

Wall, 30, has missed most of the last two seasons due to injuries. In 2016-2017 he averaged 23.1 points, 10.7 assists, and 4.1 rebounds.
