The Wizards entered the fourth quarter of their Thursday game in London, England against the Knicks in a 12-point hole. But a furious rally made it a game, and the Wizards exited the O2 Arena with a 101-100 win thanks to one of the craziest finishes of the season.
As time wound down, Thomas Bryant slipped past the Knicks defense and was found by Bradley Beal with a beautiful skip pass. Bryant went up for the buzzer-beater, and the shot was rejected by New York guard Alonzo Trier. But Trier was late on the block, and swatted the ball as it made its descent into the basket.
And thus, London was privy to the first buzzer-beating goaltending call of the 2018-19 NBA season.

After a lengthy review, referees put 0.3 seconds back on the clock and the Knicks with possession.
The Knicks' desperation heave fell short, giving the Wizards a victory despite trailing by as many as 19 points.
