The Stars and Stripes uniforms were discontinued after Nike took over the NBA's uniform production from Adidas in 2017-18. Teams are locked in for at least four uniform variations, with the City Edition set to change every season.
The Wizards will debut their new uniforms on December 5 against the 76ers at Capital One Arena and will wear them on the following Dates.
Dec. 5 vs 76ers
Dec. 8 vs Clippers
Dec. 18 vs Bulls
Jan. 3 vs Trail Blazers
Jan. 6 vs Celtics
Jan. 20 vs Pistons
Feb. 3 vs Warriors
Feb. 9 vs Grizzlies
Feb. 24 vs Bucks
Feb. 26 vs Nets
Mar. 15 vs Thunder
Mar. 23 vs Celtics
Apr. 3 vs 76ers
Apr. 15 vs Pacers
Fans will be able to purchase apparel and jerseys starting November 27 at the team store.
John Wall probably won't be able to wear the uniform this year, so maybe the team can adopt the design as their new "Statement" option so the point guard can re-live his epic game-winner against the Celtics in the 2017 Eastern Conference semifinals.
