ALAMEDA -- Jacoby Ford stood at his locker with a sly grin on his face as the media crush surrounded him Monday morning. The injured receiverreturner who has played in less than half of the season knew the question was coming. Are you going to play on Sunday? The smile melted away almost as fast as he is when he breaks off a long kickoff return."Can't answer that," Ford said. And that was that. With so much on the line this weekend in the Raiders' season finale against San Diego -- lose, and the Raiders are eliminated from playoff consideration -- Ford and his sprained left foot are leaving his fate to, well, fate."I think it's going to come down to the decision of the coaches and the training staff, if they feel like I'm able to perform at the level that I can," he said. "I'm just kind of get-a-feel throughout the whole week. I'm just going to take it this whole week."So stay tuned?Ford has endured a slew of injuries this season. In training camp, he broke a hand. In the season opener, he strained a hamstring. And at San Diego, he injured the foot.He has not played since Nov. 10 and has already missed eight games."Some days it's sore, some days it feels good," Ford said. "Just depending week to week on how it feels. That kind of determines how much I'll do during the week as far as running on it."The key for Ford, though, is not being 100 percent, but being able to help his team, rather than hinder it."That's one thing I definitely wouldn't want to do," he said. "If I can go, I can go. If I can't, its like a tough break. I just hope I can."
