CSNBayArea.com staffSaberCats ownerhead coach Darren Arbet, WRDB Barry Wagner and OLDL Sam Hernandez have been elected to the AFL Hall of Fame, becoming the first three from the SaberCats organization to be honored.I am truly honored to be elected to the Hall of Fame, said OwnerHead Coach Darren Arbet. I want to thank John Fry for giving me the chance to coach this team and all the support he gave me over the years. It makes it even more special to go in with Barry Wagner and Sam Hernandez who were key pieces to our success over the years. Its great to receive this recognition, but there should be a lot more names next to mine because I couldnt have received this honor without the help and support of the people who made this franchise into what it is today.Arbet becomes the fourth head coach to elected to the AFL Hall of Fame with a overall record of 129-62, three ArenaBowl titles and two Coach of the year honors. The 2011 AFL Hall of Fame Class will be inducted during the 2012 Kickoff Weekend.
