Report: Former 49ers cornerback traded from Seahawks to Vikings

A former 49ers cornerback is on the move again.

According to NFL.com, the Minnesota Vikings have acquired Tramaine Brok from the Seattle Seahawks. The NFC West team will send a seventh-round pick to Seattle.

San Francisco released Brock back in April after he was arrested over an alleged domestic incident.

Brock will not face felony charges of domestic violence because the case was dismissed.

The soon-to-be 29-year old started all 31 games he appeared in over the last two seasons.

Minnesota had the third-best pass defense in the NFL last year -- allowing just 207.9 yards per game in the air.

Tramaine Brock's agent: The 49ers lied

On Wednesday morning, the Seahawks signed former 49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock.

On Wednesday afternoon, Brock's agent called out the 49ers.

On August 9, the Santa Clara County DA dismissed the domestic violence case against Brock due to insufficient evidence, as the alleged victim declined to cooperate.

Soon thereafter, NBC Sports Bay Area's Matt Maiocco reported:

And a little over an hour later:

On April 7, the 49ers released Brock less than four hours after news surfaced that Brock was arrested for a domestic incident.

A couple days later, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said the 49ers made the right decision to part ways with Brock.

“You’re dealing with people’s lives, so I’d never want to use a situation as sending a message. It’s just us trying to do the right thing, whatever that is. I think each situation’s different and you’ve got to look into every situation, gather all the information that you can.

"When you do, you try as hard as you can to make the right decision. And I think that’s what I felt we did.”

Last season, the Seahawks finished third in points per game allowed (18.3) and eighth in passing yards allowed per game (225.8).

The 49ers play in Seattle in Week 2 and host the Seahawks on Nov. 26.
