The Bruins have signed forwards Jared Knight and Ryan Spooner, both 19, to three-year entry level contracts.

The story was originally reported by New England Hockey Journal.

Both players were picked in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Knight was chosen with the 32nd overall selection, which came from the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Phil Kessel trade. In 68 games played in 201011 for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, he had a scoring line of 25-45-70, leading his team in points.

Spooner was selected 45th overall with Boston's own pick. The center went 35-46-81 in 64 games for the Peterborough Petes and the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL last season.

The salaries are expected to be at or around the rookie maximum of 900k per season.
