The Bruins announced Sunday they have assigned forward Jordan Caron to the Providence Bruins of the AHL.
Caron averaged just over nine minutes of ice time per game in four appearances for the B's and did not record a point in his limited time. The former first-round pick (2009) made the team out of camp for the second straight season, but, once again, could not hold onto a spot with the NHL club.
Caron has three goals and four assists in his career.
