Ex-Celtics power forward Kevin Garnett is reportedly close to ending his days in Minnesota, with Marc Stein of ESPN reporting that the two parties are in advanced talks to end Garnett's time with the Timberwolves.

Garnett played with Boston from 2007-2013, averaging 15.7 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game. He was an all-star in five of his six season with the Celtics, helping them win their 17th NBA title in 2008.

If Garnett elects to end his career with the buyout, the NBA will send off Garnett, Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan in the same offseason.
