SUNRISE, Fla.He wont be any kind of answer to the goaltending woes going on currently in Boston, but the Bruins have taken a flyer on another young goaltender.

The Bs announced on Thursday afternoon that theyve signed 21-year-old Adam Morrison from the Vancouver Giants to an entry-level deal, but hell finish out his junior hockey season with the Giants.

Morrison has played 56 WHL games this season for the Saskatoon Blades and the Giants, and has put together a 35-17-3 record with a 2.80 goals against average and .900 save percentage with one shutout. The 6-foot-3, 194-pound Morrison is a native of White Rock, British Columbia and is another newly minted member of the Black and Gold organization plucked right out of Canucks country.

Morrison was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the third round (81st overall pick) in the 2009 draft, but never came to terms with the goalie-starved organization. Morrison will likely get added to the goaltending group in Providence once his junior hockey season is over and hell compete with Anton Khudobin and Michael Hutchinson for playing time.
