Krejci returns to Bruins practice

BRIGHTON, Mass – Another Bruins player appears to be approaching a return to the lineup as David Krejci (back) rejoined the Bruins at practice at Warrior Ice Arena on Friday morning and liberally jumped in and out of the drills on the ice.

Krejci was wearing a red no-contact jersey, which puts him into doubt for Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers, but it does appear as if a return is imminent for the playmaking center.

Krejci missed the victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday after re-aggravating an injury that kept him out for a full month earlier in the season.

Rookie winger Anders Bjork (upper body) went through a full practice without restrictions after skating the past few days with the team and looks as if he’ll be ready to go against the Flyers. Bjork has missed the past seven days after getting trucked by Matt Martin in a big mid-ice hit in a loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Cassidy didn't rule out either Bjork or Krejci for the Saturday matinee against the Flyers in Philly but admitted that Bjork is closer to a return this weekend than his 31-year-old Czech center.

Adam McQuaid (broken fibula) skated for the third day in a row ahead of B’s practice and appears to be making inroads toward a return to the Black and Gold soon. Otherwise, here are the line combos and D-pairings with a few extra forwards finally available to the coaching staff at practice:
