It appears Aqib Talib has avoided a long-term injury despite needing stitches to repair a wound after being shot in the leg over the weekend.
But that doesn’t mean this is the last we’ve heard of this story.
According to Mike Klis of 9news.com, the Broncos cornerback has told people close to him that he inadvertently shot himself.
Police are still investigating the incident.
Talib, who played for the Patriots in 2012 and 2013, was one of multiple gunshot victims at a Dallas nightclub this weekend, and he was reportedly taken to a local hospital in his Rolls Royce.
