Antonio Brown, Eric Weddle trade barbs in heated Twitter exchange

Antonio Brown continues to bring controversy to the NFL despite not currently having a team.

New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate and Los Angeles Rams safety Eric Weddle responded to a cryptic tweet posted by Brown on Thursday that read, "The game need me I'm like test answers." The tweet (which references a Lil' Wayne song) confused Tate, who responded with, "What???"

Weddle replied to Tate's tweet saying, "Def don't." In other words, Weddle doesn't exactly believe the game needs Brown in it.

Look below:

After a Twitter user told Weddle he "can't guard" Brown, the veteran responded by noting he doesn't need to, because the ex-Patriots wide receiver isn't on an NFL roster.

That prompted a swift response from Brown, which you can read below:

Weddle fired back by saying he's glad Brown isn't on his team, and sarcastically wished him luck at Central Michigan University. The controversial wideout answered by talking about his "brand."

Yes, that entire exchange confused us too.

Brown got the last word with a pair of photos showing him getting the upper hand vs. Weddle during a Steelers-Ravens matchup:

After being released by the Patriots a week ago, Brown declared he was done with the NFL and enrolling in classes at Central Michigan before changing his tune on Thursday with a tweet that read, "I'm still the best why stop now."

Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, claimed some teams are "very interested" in the 31-year-old.
