Reilly O'Toole is coming back for more Illini football.

The Wheaton Warrenville South product's eligibility is exhausted, but he'll be donning orange and blue again this season as a graduate assistant. Head football coach Tim Beckman announced O'Toole's addition to his coaching staff Wednesday night.

O'Toole saw action in all four of his seasons in Champaign, spending much of that time as a backup to Nathan Scheelhaase. But after competing for and missing out on the starting gig at the beginning of last season, O'Toole took over for an injured Wes Lunt and started eight games, including the Illini's first bowl game of the Beckman Era. O'Toole led the Illini to wins in three of the last five games, allowing the team to reach bowl eligibility.

In four seasons, O'Toole completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 2,319 yards and 18 touchdowns.
