CSNChicago.com is your top destination on the road to the 2015 high school football season. CSN preps contributor “Edgy” Tim O’Halloran will take a look at 100 teams in 100 days, counting down to the opening night kickoff on Aug. 28.

School: Fenwick

Head coach: Gene Nudo

Assistant coaches: Bill Eufrasio, Dick Eufrasio, Tim Rooney, Jim Honan, Brien Rooney, Bob Muti, Mark Vruno and Don Heldmann.

How they fared in 2014: 7-5 (2-2 Chicago Catholic League Green Conference); The Friars made the 7A playoffs, defeating Highland Park and Carmel before losing to Libertyville in the quarterfinals.

Biggest storyline in 2015: Can the Friars reload in 2015? Fenwick welcomes back just six starters (three offense, three defense) this season.

Names to watch: Running back/safety Will Lattner is the grandson of Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Lattner; Linebacker Brett Moorman is drawing recruiting interest this spring.

Biggest holes to fill: Offensive and defensive line.

EDGY's early take: The Friars will need to reload under Nudo. Fenwick always has talent in the building, and expect them to compete with all-comers and have playoff potential.
