The 49ers pride themselves on their physical style of play, and although there is no true way to gauge the toll playing San Francisco takes on the opposition, there is one measuring stick.
Teams that played the 49ers are 0-13 the following week.
“It is a record we're aware of and it's one we think is pretty cool,” 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said on Thursday.

The latest 49ers recent opponent to fall happened Saturday when the Seattle Seahawks lost 24-10 to the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
The only team this season to win its next game after playing the 49ers is the Chiefs, but Kansas City had a bye week after facing the 49ers, so their win over the Tennessee Titans came two weeks after beating San Francisco.
“It's pretty cool stat,” Shanahan said. “It could be a coincidence, but we like to think it’s not, so we'll take it that way.”
