As if the AL Wild Card Game wasn't tough enough for A's fans ...

The Yankees crushed the A's 7-2 on Wednesday night to end Oakland's 97-win Cinderella season. And just two batters into the bottom of the first inning, Aaron Judge hammered a two-run shot to get Yankee Stadium rocking and put the A's in a big 2-0 hole.

What happened on the field was far from the worst of it in the Bronx. Sometimes you have to tip your cap to a young team full of absolute mashers. You don't have to tip your hat to people like this Yankees fan, though.

We can, however, tip our hat to this A's fan. How he kept his cool with this Yankees fan throwing beer on him and laughing at the cruel act is beyond our best guess.

Dallas Braden, former A's pitcher and current NBC Sports California broadcaster, had a bit of a different reaction.

Some fans are a little more sly about rubbing it in.

Again, this A's fan deserves a tip of the cap for handling his loss with class.

After the scene in the AL Wild Card Game against the A's, playing the Red Sox in the ALDS is sure to be a whole different beast at Yankee Stadium.
