Warriors Gaming Squad continued their hot start to the season by earning the sweep in the best-of-three matchup against 76ers Gaming Club on Wednesday.

The series win improved the team’s record to 3-0 on the season, the first time the franchise has accomplished that feat.

76ers Gaming has been one of the best teams in the NBA 2K League for the past two seasons, but they’re off to a slow start this season and still are without a win (0-3).

After WGS went down 11-0 early in the first quarter, the rest of Game 1 and the series wasn’t very competitive. The Warriors blew out the 76ers in both games of the series.

The defense was on point all night for WGS. Led by Slaughter protecting the rim and Gradient blocking shots into the stands, the 76ers struggled to put up points.

The Warriors, once again, got a huge game on the offensive end from CB13 with 41 points, helping the Warriors cruise to a 73-57 win in Game 1.

Game 2 of the series wasn’t very close at any point. The score started to get ugly in the second half of the game.

WGS was doing whatever they wanted on both ends of the court.

Warriors Gaming Squad took Game 2 74-43, marking their biggest margin of victory in any game this season.

Slaughter put up some insane numbers marking career-highs in rebound and assists. The 26 rebounds in Game 2 of the series is the second-most in a single game in NBA 2K League history.

The Warriors look to extend their winning streak and perfect start to the season on Friday against Cavs Legion Gaming Club (1-2).
