Amazing stats from Webb's historic performance in Game 1

Logan Webb

Logan Webb was absolutely masterful in his postseason debut against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

And that might be putting it lightly.

The 24-year-old blanked the Dodgers for 7 2/3 innings while striking out 10 batters in Game 1 of the NLDS.

Tim Lincecum in 2010, Madison Bumgarner in 2014 and Logan Webb in 2021. Could there end up being a common denominator with each of these three seasons?

The Giants rode Webb's masterful outing to a 4-0 win over the rival Dodgers, taking a 1-0 series lead in the NLDS.

With Kevin Gausman on the mound Saturday for Game 2 of the series, the Giants are hoping for more of the same from the elder of San Francisco's two aces.
