Bart misses first homer by inches, settles for third double

At some point Joey Bart will hit his first career home run, but Oracle Park is making it tough on the Giants' top prospect.

A night after doubling high off the bricks in right field, Bart pinch-hit in the bottom of the seventh inning Saturday and crushed a ball to center field.

The ball looked like it might clear the fence, but it hit off the top of the wall and kicked back into the field of play.

Bart had to settle for his third career double. All three of his big league hits have been doubles.
