It appears Giants reliever Taylor Rogers will be in the market for a new glove.
Rogers surrendered four walks and was charged with four earned runs all without recording an out in the sixth inning of the Giants' matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday at Oracle Park.
After surrendering a bases-loaded, 15-pitch walk to Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman, Rogers was pulled from the game. The veteran lefty walked into the dugout and immediately threw his glove into a trash can before repeatedly slamming his fist on the dugout bench.
Rogers' frustration certainly is understandable, but the glove might not be to blame for the rough outing.
Two batters after Rogers was pulled from the game, Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy launched a grand slam that broke the game open, his fourth home run of the series.

In speaking to reporters after the game, Rogers was asked if his glove still is in the dugout trash can.
"I would assume so, I hope so," Rogers said. "We're going to have to get the Rawlings website going."
