How Hunter Pence remembers Pablo Sandoval's over-the-top, fun wedding

Find someone who talks about you the way Giants outfielder Hunter Pence talks about teammate Pablo Sandoval.

Talk about goals.

Pence, and his wife, Lexi, stopped by “Shelter in Base” show for an interview with the Triples Alley gang and had amazing things to say about his “ride or die” Panda, who just lights up the room when he arrives.

“He’s just got so much love and he’s a playful spirit,” Hunter said. Lexi mirrored those sentiments offering a charismatic compliment, both in how she said it, and how she described the Giants’ lovable third baseman.

And then there were the details of Panda's nuptials in Miami during the offseason in December.

We heard some stories about the sizable wedding, but not the details of the entertainment value that was offered.

“It was four in the morning, and we had already seen break dancing pandas, we had two famous Latin rapper concerts, and all of a sudden, salsa flamingos on stilts came,” Hunter described.

“It was just the wildest thing I could ever imagine, and it was all night,” he said. “It was great.”

Pence and Panda began playing as teammates in 2012, earned a couple World Series rings, and continued off and on sharing orange and black through the offseason when the Giants signed Pence to a one-year, $3 million contract

This makes that reunion that much sweeter.
