Former Giants outfielder Jarrett Parker has signed a minor-league deal with the Angels, according to FanCred's Jon Heyman.
Parker's deal with the Angels also reportedly has a foreign team inquiry clause. If a team overseas offers Parker a contract, he can opt for that route and get out of his deal with Los Angeles.
The former second-round pick did not play on any team last season. After being released by the Giants on March 26, right before the 2018 season, Parker continued to rehab from complications with his shoulder injury the year before.

In a mid-April home game against the Rockies, Parker made a sensational grab as he ran into the left field wall. But the catch probably wasn't worth it. He fractured his right clavicle and didn't return to the Giants until early August.
Over three years of partial playing time for the Giants, Parker hit .257 with 15 home runs in 135 games. The left-handed hitter showed plenty of pop at times, but couldn't find consistency at the plate.
