The Kings will be without star center Domantas Sabonis on their upcoming road trip.
Sacramento announced that Sabonis underwent an MRI on his left knee Monday. While it revealed he suffered a left knee bone contusion in Sunday's 127-124 overtime loss to the Phoenix Suns, there was no structural damage and he'll be re-evaluated in 10 days.
Sabonis exited the Kings' latest loss late in the fourth quarter after colliding with Suns center Deandre Ayton under the basket.

He finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in 31 minutes against the Suns.

The Kings, who have also been without star guard De'Aaron Fox the past two games due to a hand injury, begin a five-game road trip Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers and won't return home to Golden 1 Center until April 3. Once the road trip is finished, the Kings will only have just four regular-season games remaining.

Sabonis, acquired by the Kings in a blockbuster move at the NBA trade deadline, is averaging 18.9 points and 12.3 rebounds per game in 15 contests with Sacramento.
