2019 NFL draft order: Raiders' updated picks after second-round trades

Raiders general manager Mike Mayock and head coach/football czar Jon Gruden definitely worked the phones during the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and gained valuable assets in the process.

The Raiders made three picks in the first round Thursday, and they were scheduled to pick at No. 35 on Friday before making a deal with the Jaguars that dropped them back three spots to No. 38.

But that was just the beginning. Mayock and Gruden were back on the phones, and traded that No. 38 pick to the Bills for No. 40.

As they say, the third time's a charm, as the Raiders finally selected Clemson cornerback Trayvon Mullen with their second-round pick.

After the flurry of trades, here's how the Raiders' picks now sit in the 2019 NFL Draft:

1. First round: No. 4 overall -- DE Clelin Ferrell
2. First round: No. 24 overall -- RB Josh Jacobs
3. First round: No. 27 overall -- Safety Johnathan Abram
4. Second round: No. 40 overall -- CB Trayvon Mullen (trades with Jaguars, Bills)
5. Fourth round: No. 106 overall
6. Fourth round: No. 109 (trade with Jaguars)
7. Fifth round: No. 158 overall (from Steelers, through trade with Bills)
8. Seventh round: No. 218 overall
