Antonio Brown is sorry. This much we know.
He's sorry for confronting Raiders general manager Mike Mayock about the fines that had been levied against him. He denies using the language that was reported and claims the altercation never got physical.
After the star receiver apologized to his team, head coach Jon Gruden announced Brown had returned to practice and would play in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.

"I'm excited to be out here today," Brown said. "I want to apologize to my teammates, organization. I'm excited to be out here with my teammates. I'm grateful for all my fans and I'm excited to be a part of the Raiders and see you guys soon."
The Raiders reportedly were planning to suspend Brown after the incident, which would have allowed them to void the remaining $29 million in guaranteed money the four-time All-Pro has coming and cut him without penalty. That was the last resort and likely never was going to happen.

Brown wants to get paid and the Raiders want to win.
So he will play. Whether or not it leads to wins is yet to be determined.
