Yannick Ngakoue and the Raiders have agreed to a two-year contract worth $26 million, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday, citing a source.

NFL Media's Ian Rapoport first broke the news that Ngakoue and the Raiders were close to a deal.
The 25-year-old outside linebacker has racked up at least eight sacks in each of his first five seasons in the NFL, putting him in elite company, as noted by ESPN's Paul Gutierrez.
Ngakoue is listed at 6-foot-2, 245 pounds and fills one of the Raiders' biggest needs on the edge. He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, making the 2017 Pro Bowl after posting a career-high 12 sacks and leading the league with six forced fumbles.
Last year he had five sacks in six games with the Minnesota Vikings before being traded to the Baltimore Ravens, where he had three sacks in nine contests.

It comes on the heels of the Raiders shedding salary by reportedly planning to release players like Tyrell Williams, Lamarcus Joyner, Richie Incognito and Gabe Jackson, along with trading away Trent Brown's massive contract.
