Raiders 2020 NFL Draft picks: Seven players Mike Mayock, Jon Gruden took

The Raiders didn’t do a lot of wheeling and dealing in the 2020 NFL Draft. They mostly stayed put, especially with their earlier picks, and locked down several players they wanted in slots already owned.

The Silver and Black were done earlier than most, using their last pick in the fourth round before going dormant for the rest of the draft. They went heavy on receivers, cornerbacks and Clemson products, all expected moves considering the team’s needs and love for Dabo Swinney’s program.

They went with two receivers plus a versatile skill player, two cornerbacks and hybrid linebacker and an interior lineman. They also went heavy on top power programs, with two players from Clemson, one from Ohio State and three from the SEC. Only Louisiana Tech cornerback Amik Robertson played in a non-power-5 conference.
