What flight attendants told Sharks about sharing plane with Biden

Whatever the political affiliation of the players, coaches and front office might be, the Sharks always will be connected to the 46th President of the United States.

As President Joe Biden flew across the country during his campaign, the chartered jet his team used was the same that serves as the Sharks' team plane.

"We did talk to a couple of the stewardesses on the plane the other day," Sharks coach Bob Boughner said Wednesday morning to reporters. "One of the guys was asking questions and they just said it was a pretty adventurous road trip with him on the plane, a nice man apparently and very first-class obviously.

"They said that he didn't do a lot of relaxing on the plane. He worked from the time he got on to the time he got off. They said they enjoyed their experience with his whole team. It's a big day in USA today, in America today, for the inauguration and it's a cool little tie-in.

"Apparently first-class all the way."

The Biden campaign contracted the plane from Northern California-based Kaiser Air. The Biden team then applied its own design on the outside of the plane, even though a teal shark next to his name on the outside of a plane would have been downright awesome.

Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021. Oakland native Kamala Harris was sworn in as Vice President. Biden and his team will be getting access to Air Force One as the President of the United States.
