Did Kevin Durant hint at possible Warriors return in NBA Finals Game 4?

With Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant out for Wednesday night's Game 3 of the NBA Finals, the Warriors lacked the necessary firepower to contend with the Toronto Raptors, falling 123-109 at Oracle Arena.

But the Raptors' reckoning could be on the horizon.

Durant, who has been sidelined since straining his right calf during the third quarter of Game 5 in the Warriors' second-round NBA playoff series against the Houston Rockets, has been ramping up his activity as he tries to return and help the Dubs dig out of a two-games-to-one series hole.

When asked by The Undefeated's Marc Spears if he would be on the court for Game 4 on Friday night at Oracle Arena, Durant hinted at the possibility that he'll be off the shelf soon.

On Thursday, Durant will go through a closed-door scrimmage that will determine whether or not he's ready for a return. As for Thompson, it sounds like the Warriors expect him to return Friday.
