Eric Paschall etched his name in the Warriors' record book with a bit of obscure history against the New York Knicks on Thursday night at Chase Center.

With a pair of free throws in the second quarter, Paschall reached 1,000 points in his NBA career.

According to Elias Sports, Paschall broke Gilbert Arenas' franchise record for fewest games needed for a second-round draft pick to reach 1,000 points.

Taken with the No. 41 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Paschall was a revelation for the Warriors last season. In the midst of an ugly 15-50 campaign, Paschall's emergence arguably was the biggest story of the Warriors season.

Paschall hasn't matched last year's production, but he has been just as valuable on the Warriors' second unit.

Entering Thursday's game against the Knicks, Paschall was averaging 11.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 13 games.
