Klay compares Wiggs to Hall of Fame player after viral dunk

Andrew Wiggins' posterizing dunk over Luka Dončić had the entire basketball world gawking on social media.

Among those with their jaw still dropped following the Warriors' 109-100 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals was teammate Klay Thompson, who compared Wiggins to one of the NBA's most celebrated dunkers.

"What a game he had tonight," Thompson said of Wiggins. "He was looking like Dominque Wilkins out there with the dunks he was throwing down."

There isn't higher praise to describe a dunk than stacking it up to the art work of Wilkins, who earned the nickname "Human Highlight Reel" for head-turning dunks across 15 NBA seasons from 1982-99. Wilkins won two NBA Slam Dunk Contests and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.

Wiggins' dunk won't be heading to the Basketball Hall in Springfield, Massachusetts, but it will be living in the heads of Thompson and Warriors fans alike as Golden State continues its championship march.

You can bet it'll haunt Dončić all offseason long, as well.
