Klay Thompson walks without limp at airport after Game 2 leg injury

Share

In the first of two days between Games 2 and 3 of the NBA Finals, we have reached the "How is Klay Thompson moving in social-media footage?" stage.

Terez Owens tweeted out a video Monday of the Warriors guard walking without a limp at what appears to be Toronto Pearson International Airport. It's unclear when the footage is from, as Terez Owens did not post the video until Monday while the Bay Area News Group's Mark Medina said the Warriors flew out of Toronto on Sunday.

Thompson injured his left hamstring -- "popped a hammy," in his words -- in the fourth quarter of Golden State's Game 2 win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday to even the NBA Finals series at one game apiece.

Surely you find yourself asking, "What does it all mean?" The only natural response -- other than wondering how you were able to bend the laws of time and space and ask this blogger said question -- is that it means a heck of a lot less than Thompson's MRI results, which should be released soon. You don't need to be a (semi-) professional blogger or a medical expert to realize that walking is not exactly the same as exerting one's self on a basketball court.

At least Thompson didn't have to pull a Paul Pierce  DeMarcus Cousins and Andre Iguodala to get through the airport.
