LeBron explains real reason behind his Steph-like no-look 3

Money talks. Just ask LeBron James.

He is already one of the world’s richest celebrities, making an estimated $88.2 million in 2020, according to Forbes. But an extra $100 doesn’t hurt the wallet.

When James knocked down his no-look 3-pointer Tuesday night, many observers immediately thought of Steph Curry’s similar shooting antics

As it turns out, Lakers guard Dennis Schroder made a $100 wager with James while he got set to shoot the ball. James, a true showman, quickly spun around and told Schroeder, “Bet,” while the ball was still in the air.

Whether you like LeBron or not, you have to admit that is pretty awesome.

After the game, James acknowledged Steph’s ability to pull off the no-look shot and told reporters, “he has the ultimate, ultra-green light to do that 'cause 10 times out of nine it's going in for Steph."

It’s cool to see two of the contemporary greats show respect, but this Schroder story is more hilarious. As fans and observers, we never usually get the full picture on what’s really happening on the floor. This gives us a fun glimpse into the games within the games that exist at basketball’s highest level.
