Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James passed NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the all-time scoring list with a basket at the very end of the third quarter against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night at Crypto.com Arena.
Warriors superstar Steph Curry, along with some of the biggest athletes and celebrities in the world congratulated James on Twitter.
Coming into Tuesday's game against the Thunder, James needed 36 points to break Abdul-Jabbar's record of 38,387 points and did so with an entire quarter to spare. He finished the game with 38 points on 13-of-20 shooting from the field and 4-of-6 from 3-point range.
Many will remember where they were on the night James made NBA history.
