After a lopsided loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, Steph Curry told reporters that the Warriors’ lack of consistency is preventing them from being good, let alone great, team.
Andrew Wiggins got off to a terrific start this season.
The No. 1 overall pick from the 2014 NBA Draft averaged 17.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and just 1.6 turnovers over the Warriors' first 20 games, while shooting 47.2 percent overall and 40.6 percent from 3-point territory.
Those numbers are down to 16.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 turnovers over the last 15 games, on 44.9 percent shooting from the field and 27.3 percent from deep.

So how can the Warriors get him going again?

"It's tough. These are the dog days of the season leading up to All-Star break," Matt Barnes explained Monday on 95.7 The Game's "The Morning Roast" show. "Sometimes guys hit these bumps in the road. I'm sure everyone can use a little break -- kind of recalibrate and focus and relax a little bit.
"Get back on track. I think he's done a good solid job this year."
The good news is that Wiggins' defense (except for Sunday's blowout loss to the Lakers) has stayed consistent, and the 6-foot-7 forward remains very committed on that end of the floor.
So perhaps Barnes is right, and the 26-year-old will start shooting the ball better come March 11 when the Warriors open the second half of their season against the LA Clippers.
But it sure would be nice if he drilled some open looks Wednesday vs. the Portland Trail Blazers and Thursday vs. the Phoenix Suns before the All-Star break arrives.
