Jimmy Butler's wishes have finally come true.
One day after complaining about playing too many minutes in the T'Wolves loss to the Kings, Butler is being traded from Minnesota to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to multiple national reports. Shams Charania of The Athletic was first to report the news.
The trade is reportedly centered around forwards Dario Saric and Robert Covington going from Philadelphia to Minnesota in exchange for Butler, according to ESPN. The T'Wolves will also send former first-round pick Justin Patton to the 76ers and Minnesota will receive a second-round draft pick, ESPN also reports.

Butler, 29, is averaging 21.3 points per game this season in 10 games played. He's made four straight All-Star Games for the Bulls and T'Wolves.
After this season, Butler is set to become a free agent. But, the 76ers fully expect to sign Butler to a long-term contract, according to ESPN.
With a Big Three of Butler, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, the 76ers (8-5) have to be considered a top contender in the Eastern Conference as they eye the Warriors and a trip to the NBA Finals.
