Davis is currently out with a sprained left index finger, but traveled with the team to Houston on Tuesday and was seen in the huddles during timeouts.
Rumors are swirling about where Davis could wind up. Oddsmakers have the Lakers as the betting favorite to land the former No. 1 overall pick, but they would have to give up a lot to get him. The Celtics would love to get their hands on Davis, but due to a quirk in the CBA, they have to wait until the summer when Kyrie Irving's contract expires.
The NBA's trade deadline is Feb. 7 and this will likely fuel speculation that the Pelicans will trade Davis soon.
