Ref stat doesn't bode well for Warriors ahead of Game 4

Following Ja Morant’s Twitter comments on his knee injury against the Warriors in Game 3, Steve Kerr took to the podium to discuss how he didn’t feel like Jordan Poole did anything wrong.

Officiating has played an early part in the Western Conference semifinals between the Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies. 

And as the series heats up, the Warriors could be in trouble ahead of Game 4 on Monday. 

Golden State has lost its last five playoff/play-in matchups officiated by John Goble, including two NBA Finals games.

Goble, who has officiated 781 regular-season games over 12 seasons as an NBA referee, in addition to 78 playoff games, including four NBA Finals games, will be one of the three officials on Monday at Chase Center.

The series has already seen two ejections, one suspension, major injuries and plenty of controversial chatter on social media.

But the Warriors will look to break the so-called Goble curse and try to take a 3-1 lead at home before heading to Memphis for Game 5.
