Rockets owner Fertitta deletes retweet about Warriors' tax bill

The Warriors reportedly are close to finalizing a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder that would bring Kelly Oubre to the Bay Area.

Shortly after The Athletic's Shams Charania and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news, ESPN's Bobby Marks tweeted out some information regarding Golden State's potential luxury tax bill.

Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta -- who has a reputation for being cheap when it comes to his franchise's roster -- retweeted Marks' post.

He soon realized he should not have done that, and deleted the retweet.

This whole thing truly is hilarious.

The Warriors eliminated the Rockets from the playoffs four times over a five-year span from 2015 to 2019, and there is no love lost between the fan bases.

Needless to say, "Warriors Twitter" is having fun with this slip up from Fertitta, which surely will be discussed soon across some national outlets.
