Steph Curry is obsessed with popcorn.

You might have learned that just two weeks ago, when on an episode of his YouTube series, "5 Minutes From Home," he declared: "I have a huge popcorn addiction."

He revealed that Brooklyn has the best popcorn in the NBA, followed by Miami and Dallas.

But a recent hard-hitting piece of journalism from Marc Stein of The New York Times uncovered that Dallas is actually No. 1 in Curry's book.

American Airlines Center received a near-perfect score of 24 (out of 25), getting a "5" in "freshness" "saltiness" "butter" and "presentation," and a "4" in "crunchiness."

So where does Oracle Arena rank among the 29 arenas in the NBA?

Well, Curry's "f--king house" got the following marks:
5 in crunchiness
4 in saltiness and presentation
3 in butter
2 in freshness

A grand total of "18" is good for ninth, barely sneaking in the top 10. You gotta think Chase Center is gonna work very hard to crack the Top 5 next season.

Staples Center is Los Angeles came in last place. But don't worry Warriors fans, because Curry has played quite well in his last eight games against the Clippers in Southern California:
1) March 31, 2015 = 27 points, 4-for-6 3s
2) Nov. 19, 2015 = 40 points, 6-for-14 3s
3) Feb. 20, 2016 = 23 points, 3-for-8 3s
4) Dec. 7, 2016 = 19 points, 0-for-8 3s
5) Feb. 2, 2017 = 29 points, 3-for-10 3s
6) Oct. 30, 2017 = 31 points, 7-for-11 3s
7) Jan. 6, 2018 = 45 points, 8-for-16 3s
8) Jan. 18, 2019 = 28 points, 3-for-11 3s

Finally, we will leave you with the following anecdote from The Times' story:

Although the popcorn at the New Orleans Pelicans’ Smoothie King Center landed just outside the top 10 at No. 12, Warriors staffers still talk about the trip there in Curry’s second N.B.A. season. Upon discovering an oversize bag of popcorn in the training room, Curry moved the bag to his locker and slipped his jersey over it. He was later pictured hugging the bag (without the jersey) on the locker-room floor.

“I really get off on popcorn,” Curry said. “It’s not even a joke.”
