Steph Curry is showing us is his greatness on a nightly basis right now. Despite the Warriors' tough 119-114 loss Saturday to the Boston Celtics, Curry continued to make it clear there's nobody quite like him.
He has won two NBA MVPs. He's a three-time champion. But nothing has been like his last 10 games, and he knows it.
"I mean, statistically it is, for sure," Curry said Saturday when asked after the Warriors' loss if this is the best 10-game stretch of his storied career. "This season required something a little different. I'm trying to meet that moment."

Curry scored 47 points and made 11 3-pointers in Golden State's loss to Boston. Over his last 10 games, Curry is averaging an absurd 39.1 points while shooting 48.6 percent from distance on 14 attempts beyond the arc. In that span, he's shooting 54.6 percent from the field, 90.1 percent from the free-throw line and also averaging 6.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
He again joined Wilt Chamberlain in rare company Saturday. Curry scored at least 30 points in his 10th straight game, becoming the first Warrior to do so since Chamberlain's 12-game streak in 1964.

The problem is the Warriors are 6-4 in the last 10 games Curry has played in. With numbers like that, they should be much better.

"It's a fun brand of basketball, just trying to put wins together with it," Curry said. "I have supreme confidence -- I've been blessed with a very special skill set that I'm trying to continue to master and hone and get better at, and that's showing. The work is showing.
"I'm trying to sustain that throughout the season, because it's required for us to get to where we want to go."
The Warriors (28-29) enter Sunday as the No. 9 seed in the Western Conference as they look to move up the standings. One thing is clear: They'll need more Superman Steph, and a lot more help from his teammates.
