Steph's perfect word on what winning fourth title would mean

The Warriors’ triple threat of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green has spent a decade in the Bay together.

The trio has played in 124 games together in the postseason, and celebrated three championships by each other’s side.

But they want more.

Having missed the playoffs the past two years, and trudging through that horrific 2019-20 season when Golden State (15-50) had the worst record in the league, the Warriors are back in the playoff picture and craving a dogfight.

The Warriors shocked the NBA world at the start of the 2021-22 season as they were the best team in basketball for a long time -- until they weren’t.

A lot of things have changed since the start of the new calendar year. A few shooting slumps, losing streaks and necessary adjustments later, the Warriors have found themselves in a decent position with three games remaining in the regular season.

The triad has played in just one game together since 2019, after each star has suffered an injury of some sort. But that is expected to change come playoff time

And Curry remains confident.

"We have the utmost confidence in who we are, what we do, especially when the playoffs come around,” Curry said on 95.7 The Game’s “Steiny & Guru”. “That’s what we’re banking on. That’s the confidence we have to have coming into next weekend."

Curry has missed the last nine games due to a sprained ligament in his left foot, in which the Warriors have posted a 3-6 record without their superstar.

The Warriors are expected to make an official update on Steph’s status on April 11 after the regular season concludes.

He’s been making steady progress to get back on the court with his teammates, and there’s nothing he wants more than to go to work with his Day 1s.

Steph described what winning a fourth ring would mean to him.

"To go through everything we’ve went through since the ‘19 Finals to get back to this stage and to get over the hump, it would be unbelievable,” Curry said. “It would be legendary and we’re gonna give it every shot."
