Warriors compile 10-game winning streak for sixth consecutive season

The Warriors etched their names in the history books yet again Saturday night.

The Dubs' 115-111 victory over the Celtics marked Golden State's 10th consecutive win, a streak they achieved for the sixth straight season. That ties them with the Spurs as the only team in NBA history to reach such a feat. It also happened to be Steve Kerr's 300th career win.

Warriors Outsider Grant Liffmann made a note about the Warriors' recent winning streaks before the game, dating back to the 2015-16 season.

Along with the four years noted above, the Dubs pulled off winning streaks of 16 games and 12 games in the 2014-15 season, and a winning streak of 10 games in the 2013-14 season.

The current streak of 10 games doesn’t look like it will come to an end any time soon, as the Dubs are playing their best basketball of the season. They passed their biggest test of the DeMarcus Cousins era with a thrilling victory in Boston on Saturday night, and their upcoming schedule gets far easier.

Golden State finishes off their road trip on Monday against the Victor Oladipo-less Indiana Pacers, and then play seven of their next nine games in the friendly confines of Oracle Arena.

Perhaps more record-setting victories are on deck.
